Jim has built over 300 homes in the Knoxville area, and has performed numerous remodel and/or renovation projects in East Tennessee. He was Vice President and Qualifying Agent of Wardley Properties, Inc. from 1990 until the company's president retired in 2010.

Jim and Teresa Wardley are native to Knoxville, went to Farragut and Bearden High Schools, attended UT where Jim majored in Business and Teresa has a degree in Art History.
